Traveled from Tokyo ➡️ New York to compete in the 2026 debate tournament along with her Wake Forest team… then heading right back to Tokyo to finish her study abroad semester. As a mom, I’m in awe — but as a therapist, I know this kind of excellence is built, not случайно.

It’s discipline. It’s mindset. It’s resilience. It’s having the support and structure to keep showing up at a high level, even when it’s hard.

Today marks a year since the tragedy at Appalachee High School, a day that forever changed our community. As we reflected on this past year, I feel incredibly grateful to have been part of a team dedicated to healing and support.
