Do you ever feel like your healthcare provider rushes you through your appointment without really listening to you just so they can quickly write a prescription and get to their next patient? We've experienced that frustration as well, and that is why we are taking a new approach at Jefferson Psychiatric Services. Our initial appointments are about an hour long, and follow-up appointments are approximately 30 minutes. This gives our providers a chance to actually get to know you and hear your needs and concerns. Sure, we could make a little extra money if we rushed our patients through appointments, but we believe that exceptional client care is more important than a few extra bucks in our pocket. Hello! I am so excited to be part of Jefferson Psychiatrics. I’m a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a background in cardiac ICU, COVID ICU, and psychiatric crisis intervention. These experiences have shaped my understanding of how mental and physical health are deeply connected, inspiring me to help people build resilience and regain confidence in themselves. Life is extremely tough at times and it’s my goal to give you the tools for resilience so you can thrive!

I specialize in across-the-lifespan care, with a primary focus on children and adolescents, focusing on anxiety disorders, self-doubt, and the challenges of navigating life’s stressors. My approach combines evidence-based mental health care with practical strategies like incorporating fitness, lifestyle changes, and emotional resilience tools to help my patients thrive.

Whether it’s supporting someone through trauma or anxiety, helping children build confidence, or working with men to balance mental and physical well-being, my goal is always to provide care that addresses the root of the issue and fosters long-term healing. During our first visit, you can expect a thorough assessment and understanding of who you are and who you want to become. I’m here to help you feel empowered, balanced, and supported on your journey toward better mental health.

Hi everyone! It’s a pleasure to be part of Jefferson Psychiatrics. My name is Adrienne and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner that aims to put the focus back where it belongs- on YOU! More often than not, modern psychiatry adapts us to a one-size-fits-all framework that may leave us feeling unheard, rushed, or even confused about what is happening within us. My mission as a practitioner is to not just treat your symptoms, but collaborate and find a root cause so we can support your long-lasting emotional and physical wellbeing. My job is to help you with the tools of integrative and functional medicines to get you back to being you.

While modern medicine is a valuable tool to utilize, research also shows the importance of addressing dietary changes, supplementation, and environmental factors. I’ve seen the many benefits of a holistic approach to medicine and mental health with conditions such as trauma, ADHD, autism, and emotional variabilities. I have a strong background in autoimmune diseases and neurobiology. My goal is to get to the root of the issue, uncover underlying challenges, and create a personalized plan for long-term healing for you and your children.

In my free time I enjoy research, painting, gaming, fitness / nutrition, and living a quiet life in the woods! I love my animals and have three cuddly cats, my dog who is my best friend, and a crested gecko.
