CHILD’S DEVELOPMENT
As our therapy staff and I get ready to roll balls, bounce balls, play with putty, jump & play with little ones, we ask for you to pay close attention to your child’s motor skills and speech skills.
Do not buy into “she/he is lazy”. Children are curious, on the move and they soak up information like sponges by nature.
If your toddler is not walking, talking, uninterested in play, minimum to no eye contact, we recommend you speaking with your doctor and asking for physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy evaluations.
This is is difficult moment when this is brought to a parent’s attention by a teacher, parent, friend or your spouse but be receptive & be proactive!
