Buddy is our Friday feature! He’s a “super senior” and has days where he doesn’t want to eat well. His dedicated Mom has a small 1.5 quart crock pot and makes his food fresh every morning!! This keeps Buddy very interested in eating-yay!! Just another idea for our picky eaters out there…

Meet Maisie 😻. She started life as a feral cat we spotted in our neighborhood at the end of October. Thanks to our neighbor who allowed us to set a humane trap we caught her on November 1. A few days in a crate in our garden shed to decompress ,then vetted to make sure she was healthy and had not been microchipped or spayed (no to both),then in our guest room with lots of opportunities for positive human interaction (Food! No pressure! Plenty of places to hide and feel safe!) and at the right time, slow introduction to our 3 cats. Thank you for so many good tips on cat introductions. Maisie is now spayed and microchipped by the way! This is one reason we support because there are so many cats that would NOT be able to become integrated into a household easily or comfortably. So Christmas came early to the Lanz/Scott household. We love her!

Sweet Frankie has been a long time patient. Recently he had some dental work and while he is healing really well, during his routine acupuncture treatment I could help his healing along. There are acupuncture points to help the immune system and a point on the rear foot that helps with dental pain! He also was super cooperative for a little gentle laser therapy on his healing gums. Acupuncture is about restoring balance and harmony to the body. Frankie is a perfect example.
