For more than 30 years, the 340B Drug Pricing Program has been a critical lifeline for Indiana clinics to provide life-saving medications to low-income Hoosiers for free or at a significantly reduced cost. It does this at no cost to the taxpayer by requiring pharmaceutical companies to allow community clinics like ours to purchase those drugs at a discount.
Now these life-saving medications and healthcare are at risk. Effective July 1, 2026, proposed changes to the Managed Medicaid 340B program from the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) will allow FSSA to keep the 340B Drug Pricing Program money for its own budget - stripping these vital funds away from LifeSpring and clinics like ours throughout Indiana.
Here are 3 things you can do to help:
1. Call Governor Braun’s office at 317-232-4567 and say, “Do the right thing by carving out community clinics from the proposed changes to Medicaid Managed Care 340B.”
2. Visit 340Bsaveslives.org and send an email to Governor Braun
