Seventeen years ago today, I gave birth to my son shine, Jaxon Keith 💙
And not a single day has gone by that I haven’t thanked God for choosing me to be your mama.
From the very beginning, you were my busy little bee… climbing on everything, always on the move, always building, always creating. You saw the world differently—even as a little boy. You could spend hours drawing, dreaming, and coming up with your own little inventions—making superhero masks, building cardboard forts, and turning the simplest things into something magical.
Whether you were obsessed with The Flash and running through the house at lightning speed, talking about red pandas like they were the coolest thing on earth, or just living your best life with a bowl of mac & cheese in hand… you brought so much joy into every moment.
And then there was soccer… from the time you were just 3 years old ⚽
You found something you loved, and you never looked back.
That’s one thing about you—you’ve never been afraid of hard work.
Not in school, not in sports, and not in life.
At just 14 years old, you took a leap most adults wouldn’t—you bought your own pressure washer and built something from the ground up. Your business, Jax Jet Wash, wasn’t just about making money… it showed your drive, your independence, and the kind of man you are becoming.
You have the sweetest, most genuine soul. The way you love God, your family, and your friends is something that can be felt by everyone around you. You carry yourself with a quiet strength and an old-school kind of heart that makes me so incredibly proud.
And something I cherish more than you’ll ever fully understand…
In the moments when life hits hard—when there’s heartbreak or tragedy—you are the one who comforts me. Your wisdom, your calm, and your unwavering faith in God have carried me through more than you know.
He’s always shown me grace and loved me through the days that perhaps I’ve fallen short of being the best mom that I could be.
There’s something so special about a son who can pour strength back into his mama like that.
Seventeen… I don’t know how we got here so fast.
But what I do know is this—
You are everything I ever prayed for and more.
Keep your eyes fixed on your faith, son. Let God continue to guide your steps and shape you into the amazing man He is building you to be.
No matter how big you grow, how far you go, or how fast life moves…
I will always be your biggest fan, your safe place, and your mom.
I love you forever and ever, amen 💙
