Our Story
Beech Tree Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center is conveniently located next door to Jellico Community Hospital, Our residents have quick access to emergency services, diagnostic testing and treatment when their condition warrants it. While at the hospital, our residents' care continues to be directed by the facility attending physician or another physician from his group. Residents rooms are attractive and spacious; every room has a private bathroom. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of several common areas to talk with a friend, enjoy a game, or watch TV. Beech Tree has a well equipped beauty /barber shop on site. A licensed beautician comes on a weekly basis to cut, style, or perm residents' hair at a very affordable price. Beech Tree Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center also offers its residents intensive physical , occupational, and speech therapy services, Respite care, and hospice services. We now proudly offer The Gem City Unit a Secure Care Unit that is named in reverence to the rich heritage of Jellico. Known as the " Gem City Of the Mountains" this unit boasts features conductive to caring for residents with needs beyond the usual long-term care health need. Those features include , although are not limited to, key-pad entry/exit; focus- structured activity program directed to the individual needs and levels of participation of residents; enclosed outdoor space; meals service in their personal dining/activity areas.
