There is a saying "Don't talk about it be about it!" The Creator tells us that God can do abundantly more than we can ask, or even dream!

Well, in another miracle moment, it has happened in my life again!

I am excited and humbled, thrilled and in awe that God has seen fit for me to have completed my doctoral program and pass my Oral Defense to now be Rev. Dr. Ann L. Colley.

It was only by God's grace and mercy that I was able to accomplish this goal in the timeframe that I set out. I am extremely indebted to my Committee Chair Dr. Teresa Smallwood and my full Committee. They tirelessly supported, edited, and encouraged me to keep going. To my Dissertation Coach Dr. William Coleman. And to all my family and friends who prayed for me, cheered me on, and celebrated me now and always.

Some said you need more time, I've never seen it done like this, but God! So, I say to those who may be doubting what God can do, keep pushing. When folks aren't sure, keep pushing. When even your own thoughts are in doubt, keep pushing. Because "eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, NOR have entered into the heart of humans. The things which GOD has prepared for those who love God."

This is just the first chapter of my next book! Stay tuned because God ain't finished with me yet!!

I am continually amazed at how rich White, Racist, entitled, pricks of this world continue to reap mounds of oppressive s**t on BIPOC. This sadistic tendency to live in fear, greed and evil must be stopped. The psychological toil it is taking on BIPOC is staggering and exhausting. As a conduit soul and mind healer it saddens and motivates me to continue the work of advocacy, even when I become tired. We must think that because of the current political events that are work is done. It is far from done, these reprobates are not finished but we have the upper hand, as God is really on the side of All things justice!

A growing movement is calling for the development of a people’s vaccine and the suspension of intellectual property rights to expand access. We speak with Dr. Mohga Kamal-Yanni, a policy adviser to the People’s Vaccine Alliance, and Achal Prabhala, a public health advocate and coordinator of the AccessIBSA project, which campaigns for access to medicines in India, Brazil and South Africa.

So on my daily walk, I came across a Covid testing drive through. This is a reminder that no matter where you are we must stay aware. Although we are in a new year and two vaccines are in the midst, we are not out of the woods. We must remain diligent about wearing real protective masks, washing our hands and being careful about who you meet up with. Unfortunately, before we have a real handle on this virus, it is probable that in the US there will be half a million who have died from this virus.

That is sobering and with it comes grief, pain, sadness, anxiety, frustration, depression and a myriad of other possible mental, physical and spiritual manifestations. We need each other more than ever. We need compassion, solidarity, kindness and love.

If things feel like they are too much please reach out and ask for help, because the truth of the matter 2021 will still have lots of challenges. .
