As we approach 2026, let us take a moment or several minutes to reflect on 2025. For me, 2025 was a testament of faith, family, and self doubt. May this year be filled with God’s spiritual direction, peace, joy that surpasses all understanding. Tomorrow, we press the reset button with INTENTION, renewed PURPOSE, refreshed VISION, conscious REFLECTION while STANDING in FULL GRATITUDE. This is my prayer for all.

Sometimes it feels like it’s enough to say, “it’s going to be alright” to a friend going through a mental health crisis but what is really needed is your presence- physical touch ( handholding, lifting of chin and peering into the eyes)deep inside the soul. That’s when the feeling of “it will be alright” can be felt. If you are not in close proximity- consistent phone calls to check in. text/email messages are not enough- there is no connection. Send a video so that in times of struggle- the good and positive energies will be a reminder. FaceTime, WhatsApp, zoom - lay eyes on your peoples if only for a minute (60 seconds). When people are going through, if possible go beyond your norm (if you really want to support) Strong friends won’t always ask for help but they will accept your effort.
