At Hope Forward, we provide Christ-centered support for individuals, couples, and families who are seeking healing, clarity, and freedom in their life journeys. Our team is committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can process honestly, grow emotionally, and experience restoration. Founded by Brenda Coomer Black, Hope Forward Counseling exists to walk with people through both

the everyday challenges and the deeply difficult seasons of life. Our practice integrates professional counseling with Christian values, helping clients find renewal, strength, and lasting hope. Through the Hope Forward Foundation, we also offer practical and spiritual resources for women and children navigating the pain of divorce, extending our mission beyond the counseling room into the community. If you need a place to feel supported, encouraged, and understood, our doors are open.

Today was truly special.

Twenty-one women gathered to create vision boards centered on God’s intentions for the year ahead. We spent time in scripture, prayer, and reflection — releasing what no longer serves us and turning our attention toward where God is leading next.

It was powerful, peaceful, and full of clarity.

I will be hosting more gatherings like this — continuing the work of reflection, prayer, and vision with women who are ready to move forward with purpose.

As we move through this holiday season, our hearts are full.
We are deeply grateful for the people who allow us into their stories — especially in the hardest places of their lives.

It is an honor to sit with you, to hold space for your pain, and to offer a confidential, safe place to simply be. That trust is a gift we never take lightly.

We’re also thankful for those who come in for mental health check-ups, who prioritize their well-being, and who seek support not because they’re in crisis, but because they want to stay healthy and continue growing.

Walking alongside you on that ongoing mental health journey is just as meaningful.
From those navigating trauma to those strengthening what’s already good, every client is a gift to our practice.
