Carolyn Clanton ALF is searching for a caregiver. We’re a 16 bed Assisted Living Facility.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Job Description:
– Provides assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity. This position reports directly to the ALF Owners.
– Provides assistance as needed with activities of daily living.
– Informs the owners of any resident issues or concerns.
– Knows, understands, and adheres to resident rights.
– Is familiar with emergency equipment and procedures.
– Abide by all health and safety regulations and facility standards.
– Must be able to prepare meals.
– Assistance with self administered medication
– Keep the facility clean and organized
Qualifications and Skills:
Requirements:
– Applicant must pass Level 2 Background Check
– First Aid/CPR training
– Free from communicable disease
– Cleared for TB
– Assistance with Medication and other trainings will be provided upon hire.
– Experience with Elder Caregiving is a plus
– Applicant must be 18 years or older

Lately, we’ve been busy at the Clanton house adjusting to some changes and focusing on our residents a little extra. Everyone misses big Mike and he’s talked about often…. Especially if anyone mentions the Dallas Cowboys, buys a pack of gummie bears, or needs someone to hold the door for them. Those things seem so small until they become memories. We’ve welcomed new faces into our CC family and everyone has enjoyed getting to know one another. This year is flying by, and we’re doing all we can to make the most of each day. It won’t be long before we’re preparing for the holidays. HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE!!!!

Our Carolyn Clanton family unexpectedly lost a loved one on July 12th. Big Mike was a true gentle giant with a heart as big as the ocean. He took advantage of every opportunity to help others and never uttered anything negative. “Mikey” stole our hearts and we will miss him dearly. Please pray for his family and friends as they grieve his passing. 🙏❤️

It’s been a busy afternoon getting ready for our July 4th BBQ, water balloon fight, and neighborhood fireworks 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙🍉🎈🍗😎 🎆

While Mrs. Kay was cooking something up for dinner, we had a few great helpers with the patriotic tie dye shirts. We did have to dodge the basketball since the guys started a pretty intense game before we finished, but it made things interesting 🤪
