Our hearts ❤️ are full after a fantastic visit from the Jennings High School Foreign Languages Club earlier today! 🎶🎄
The students treated our residents to a beautiful performance, singing classic Christmas carols in both Spanish and English. It was such a treat to hear those familiar melodies in two languages—the talent was truly impressive! 🎤🌎
After the music, the students stuck around for some festive Christmas games. From laughter-filled rounds of would you rather to friendly “gift” wrapping competitions, it was heartwarming to see the different generations connecting and sharing the holiday spirit. 🎲🤶
A massive thank you to these wonderful JHS students for spending their afternoon with us and making our residents' day so bright. You all are the definition of community spirit!

🧡🥧 Sweet moments like these are what we’re most thankful for! 🥧🧡
Our residents gathered with their friends and family for a cozy Thanksgiving Dessert Social, and the room was filled with laughter, warm hugs, and plenty of delicious treats. From pumpkin pie to chocolatey goodies, every bite tasted a little sweeter when shared with the people we love.
We are so grateful for this wonderful community and the joy they bring to each other. 🍁✨

🎉🦃 Camelot Brookside Brings the Parade to Us! 🎈🚶‍♀️
What an incredible Thanksgiving treat! Our wonderful residents at Camelot Brookside had the best seat in the house for their very own Walking Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!
The creativity was overflowing as our staff and volunteers dressed up and paraded through the halls. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and pure joy on our residents' faces as the "parade" passed by was truly heartwarming. ❤️
It's moments like these that make our community so special—bringing fun, tradition, and holiday spirit right here to our home. Thank you to everyone who helped make this festive occasion a memorable success!

🇺🇸Tuesday, we had the privilege of hosting a heartfelt Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony here at Camelot Brookside. Residents, staff, families, and community members came together to honor the brave men and women who have served our country with courage and dedication.
We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our veteran residents and to thank them for the sacrifices they have made in service to our nation. Their stories inspire us every day, and it was a joy to recognize each of them for their contributions.
To all veterans—both within our walls and across the country—thank you for your service. 🇺🇸❤️

🎃👻 What a Fang-tastic Night at Camelot Brookside! 👻🎃
Our Halloween Festival Fundraiser was a spooktacular success! A huge THANK YOU to our amazing staff and volunteers who worked their magic behind the scenes — from cooking up frightfully good food to running games and keeping the fun going all night long. 💀🕸️ Special thanks to Jarod Bonin and the Jesus Worship Center , Harbor Hospice , LAMM Family Care , the Jeff Davis Parish Library, Heart of Hospice , and CenterWell Home Health
The smiles (and shrieks!) said it all — the kids had an absolute blast exploring the spookhouse! 😱🕷️ Their laughter filled the halls and brought so much joy to our residents and guests alike.
We’re so grateful for everyone who came out to celebrate, support, and share in the Halloween spirit with us. Your kindness and enthusiasm make Camelot Brookside such a special place to call home. ❤️🎃

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month — and we’re standing with every person and family affected by breast cancer. As apart of our local healthcare community, we honor survivors, support those currently in treatment, and remember loved ones we’ve lost.

Our residents 👴🏻👵🏻 were treated to a puppet show 🎭 performed by the talented youth from The Disciple’s Church. The young performers brought smiles, laughter and joy to everyone in the room. Their message of faith ✝️ truly touched our hearts.
