3yo Kismet and his owner/our barn manager Kaitlyn did their first trot steps yesterday! We are so proud of both of them !

First ever Tots group at the farm. They braved the snow and cold and after meeting all our horses spent time grooming Rae and Rosie 💜

When it’s over 60°, we take the opportunity to play with our baby horses! Today, our trainer Kendall hopped on Practical Magick. Today was his first solo ride and he even did a couple of trots, with the help of his best friend, Waffles! Then this evening, our Barn Manager, Kaitlyn got on her 3yo Kismet for the 1st time ever!! We are so proud of our horses and are loving this weather 🩵

We are so grateful that Liz Longworth took so much time to explain the mechanics of horseshoeing, answer questions AND let Chili and Jaxon demo shaping a shoe, which they got to keep at the end! Education is a fundamental piece of our riding and horsemanship programs, so when someone as knowledgeable as Liz takes time out of her very busy schedule to educate the next generation of horsemen (and women!!) it shows us how lucky we are to have such a great group of farriers, vets, and clients! Thank you so much again Liz!!
