Noha Salem, Global Women’s Health Policy Lead, reflected on the past year—and what it underscored about the urgency of sustainable access to :
“While meaningful progress has been achieved, it remains fragile. Recent funding cuts to family planning programs have led to clinic closures and supply disruptions across many low‑ and middle‑income countries, leaving millions of women without the contraceptive care they need. 2025 underscored why expanding sustainable, reliable access is so critical—and why Organon’s role must extend beyond that of a manufacturer to that of a strategic partner committed to strengthening resilient health systems.
Looking ahead, our commitment is clear. In 2026, we will continue working closely with ministries of health and partner organizations to advance country‑led access models. By supporting sustainable financing approaches, we aim to reinforce the investment case for women’s health and help build a more resilient family planning ecosystem—so that every woman receives the care she needs, when she needs it."
