okay, so this is a really important before and after showing the fern technique i always talk about.
this technique was created by .van.eijk and i had the honor of personally training with him back in 2022. during this training, i was able to learn his incredible technique to strengthen the skin in areas of collgen loss to smooth lines, acne scars, and divots.
this before and after is an example of what to expect after the first session of fern technique. we use a specific type of hyaluronic acid filler with the fern technique to create scaffolding to hold up the fine lines around the mouth (or anywhere on the face). you can notice that some of the lines have disappeared and some are just softened. as we have more sessions, we can expect the other lines to disappear as well and the skin to be smoother in the treated areas.
this is immediately after injection and soft manual sculpting so there is some swelling. over the next few months, there will be even more skin strenghtening from the collagen built from this treatment.
