Little Milestone For Small Discoveries

We are an INCLUSIVE environment dedicated to providing therapy and education to typical and neurodiverse children.

Owned and operated by a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist and Licensed Elementary School Teacher and Preschool Owner. Our center is geared toward ensuring all children exceed their developmental milestones. Little Milestones for Small Discoveries adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood and family education. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. We hope to equip our children with the skills they need so that they are fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives. Our teaching and therapeutic approaches have many access points that enable us to cater to a wide range of learners. These philosophies promote self-directed, experimental learning in a relationship-driven environment. Our philosophy on education places the parents, teachers, and adults in any child’s life as co-researchers in the young person’s quest for knowledge. The foundation of our program is built on this philosophy of active, child-led, adult-supported learning. We create an environment built for daily exploration and discovery, which are the building blocks for developing self-esteem and problem solving skills.

A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) since 2019, Cheysser has supported individuals across the lifespan in settings ranging from skilled nursing facilities to outpatient rehab, sensory clinics, and schools. ✨

Her passion lies in working with children and teens, from preschool through high school, helping them build independence, confidence, and meaningful skills for everyday life. 🖍️📚💡

With a blend of clinical expertise, creativity, and a deep understanding of sensory and developmental needs, Cheysser makes therapy engaging and empowering, whether it’s fine motor skills, sensory integration, or daily living tasks. 🌈🙌

A proud Hudson County native and bilingual (Spanish/English) occupational therapist, Ana brings both heart and expertise to every session. After earning her Master’s in OT from Kean University in 2023, she’s supported children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, brain-based disorders, and developmental delays. 💡✨

Ana currently provides school-based OT services and works part-time in a clinic—always learning and growing through continuing education in Floortime™️. With over 6 years of experience supporting children and families (including her time as a Family Support Worker), she values collaboration, family involvement, and empowering kids to reach meaningful milestones. 🌈🤝

With 15+ years of experience as a licensed occupational therapist, she’s worn many hats from supporting seniors in sub-acute care to teaming up in fast-paced hospital settings, and even exploring travel therapy across the country. Along the way, Jenna discovered her true passion: pediatrics and school-based OT 💙✏️✨

Jenna brings creativity and heart to public schools, early intervention programs, and outpatient clinics. Her practice focuses on sensory regulation, motor development, handwriting, and play-based interventions all while collaborating with staff to help kids thrive. Always learning and growing, Jenna is pursuing certification in DIR®/Floortime and champions child-led, relationship-based therapy every step of the way 🌈🙌
