Did you catch Suraj Kaufman, founder and CEO of the Sneaker Room Foundation, sitting down with Ken Rosato on ONNJ? They dived into how the inaugural Sneaker Gala for Jersey City Medical Center is blending style and philanthropy right here in Jersey City.

At the April 16th Sneaker Gala, guests are invited to pair their finest formal attire with their favorite sneakers to raise funds for pediatric programs at Jersey City Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health hospital.

Suraj and the Sneaker room Foundation has already raised over $1 million for local causes, and this event is the next big step in giving back.

Dr. Yousry’s roots in run deep: since completing his residency right here at Jersey City Medical Center, he has dedicated his career to serving the families of Jersey City and Hudson County. From his leadership as Interim Chairman to his role as a mentor for the next generation of physicians, his commitment to clinical excellence is unmatched.

His peers agree—Dr. Yousry was recently named a 2025 Jersey Choice Top Doctor by New Jersey Monthly, marking the second time he’s received this prestigious honor for his work in women's health.
