الشعير يمتص الكربوهيدرات ومؤشره الجلايسيمى منخفض لذلك هو مفيد لمرضى السكر لأنه يؤدى الى انخفاض مستوى الجلوكوز والأنسولين..
يعطى الشعور بالشبع لفترات طويلة مما يساعد على التخسيس
يعالج الأنيميا ويقلل مستوى الكوليسترول الضار
ملحوظة :ليس خالياً من الجلوتين

المقادير

٤ كوب ماء أو حليب
٢ كوب دقيق شعير جاهز
١/٢ ملعقة كبيرة ملح
١/٤ كوب زيت زيتون

الطريقة

نخلط كل المكونات فى الخلاط لتعطى عجينة أثقل قليلا من عجينة الكريب وتركها نصف ساعة ترتاح.لسهولة تنفيذها نضعها فى زجاجة كاتشاب فاضية ونسويه على طاسة تيفال مع مسحة زيت واذا لم توجد نسويها زى الكريب ننزل بكبشة عجينة ونفردها بملعقة او شوكة او حتى نحرك الطاسة عشان نوزع العجينة

عوامل نجاحه
الطاسة تكون سخنة والنار هادية
مش هيتقلب الا اذا كان استوى كويس من الجهة دى
لما نقلبه نعلى النار وهنشوفه بيعلى ويتنفخ شوية ودة معناه انه استوى من جوة فـا نهدى النار تانى عشان يستوى من على الناحية التانية
هيعمل ٢٠ رغيف قد كفّ الإيد ونحفظه فى التلاجة مش فى الفريزر
الكمية كلها ٧٨٠ كالورى لو اتعمل بماية
١٢٠ جم كربوهيدرات
١٦ جم دهون

Barley Bread — The Bread of the Prophets
“It never enters the body except that it removes every disease from it.”
It was the nourishment of the Prophets, peace be upon them. 🌿

Barley absorbs carbohydrates and has a low glycemic index, which makes it beneficial for diabetics as it helps lower glucose and insulin levels.
It gives a feeling of fullness for long periods, which aids in weight loss.
It treats anemia and reduces harmful cholesterol levels.
Note: It is not gluten-free.

Ingredients

4 cups water or milk

2 cups ready barley flour

½ tablespoon salt

¼ cup olive oil

---

Method

Blend all the ingredients together until you get a batter slightly thicker than crepe batter.
Let it rest for 30 minutes.
To make it easier to pour, place the batter in an empty ketchup bottle and cook it on a nonstick pan (Tefal) brushed lightly with oil.
If you don’t have a squeeze bottle, you can cook it like a crepe — pour one ladle of batter and spread it gently with a spoon, fork, or by tilting the pan to distribute it evenly.

Tips for Success

The pan should be hot, but the flame low.

Don’t flip it until the first side is well cooked.

When you flip it, increase the heat — you’ll see it puff up slightly, which means it’s cooked through. Then lower the heat again to let the other side cook evenly.

This amount makes about 20 small breads, roughly the size of your palm.

Store in the refrigerator, not the freezer.
