Today we celebrate the Solemnity of St. Joseph, our Patron. Just as St. Joseph was called to protect his family when they were forced into exile, we too are called to help those forced to flee their homelands to escape poverty and violence. Happy International Women’s Day and Catholic Sisters Week! We are kicking off this week by honoring our founder, Margaret Anna Cusack (Mother Francis Clare). Known as the "Nun of Kenmare," she was a prolific writer and a tireless advocate for women and children facing oppression. In the spirit of her legacy and the founding of Kenmare Press, we’ll be spending this week highlighting CSJP sister-authors who carry on the tradition of sharing vital stories, social commentary and spiritual insights.
