Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating floods that have swept through Kerrville and the Texas Hill Country. 

Many lives have been lost, and families are still searching for loved ones, including the young campers at Camp Mystic. Some of our very own PRC staff have loved ones who are missing, and the truth is, most of us know someone who has been impacted.

In moments like this, words often fall short. However, compassion has the power to carry us through what we cannot bear alone. It is a quiet strength that holds others together when they feel as though their world is unraveling. 

We are keeping the Kerrville and Texas Hill Country community close in our thoughts and prayers, praying for peace in the midst of heartbreak, for comfort to surround all who are hurting, and for the strength and guidance of first responders as they face the unknown.

In some of our darkest moments, it’s the compassion of others that offers a guiding light, reminding us we’re not alone.

This 4th of July, Celebrate a Different Kind of Freedom 🇺🇸

While fireworks light up the sky and the nation celebrates independence, we’re reminded that freedom comes in many forms. For those in recovery, freedom looks like taking your life back, one day, one choice, one victory at a time.

It’s the freedom to wake up clear-headed.
The independence to choose joy over chaos.
The strength to walk away from what no longer serves you.

Recovery isn’t just about staying "sober", it’s about building a life rooted in purpose, connection, and self-trust. It’s about realizing you have the power to shape your future, free from the grip of addiction.

So today, while we celebrate America’s independence, we also honor the quiet, courageous revolutions happening every day within every person choosing recovery.

Next showing of the FULL Texas Memorial Walkway™️ will be at Game Plan: Tackling Substance Abuse Together on 8/17 at Magnolia High School.

We are accepting submissions through our website at https://mcope.org/honor-a-loved-one/ until July 15 for this showing. We will have a special candlelight ending that evening in memory of all our angels and in honor of the families presented by The Woodlands chapter of GRASP.

This is FREE to all families to honor your loved ones that have passed from drugs or alcohol and are either from Texas or the family member/friend sending the information is from Texas.

We continue to take this impactful exhibit to schools and organizations throughout the year to spread awareness and break the stigma! Help us remember ALL of our lost Texas angels.

Your presence, encouragement, and partnership helped make this event a meaningful and memorable milestone for our team and community.
