We took an adventure across the Hardin Bridge and up to Kampsville to the Pavilion, for an amazing lunch. We got to celebrate a special ladies birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎉 🎊 CAROLE. Rheta’s grand daughter and one of our awesome housekeepers, Amber, also joined us. Then across the ferry. Back through Carrollton, we stopped at the Dairy Bar for ice cream. Then took an educational tour through Kane, don’t blink, it’s a small one. Steve told us about all the businesses and such that were in Kane. He is a graduate of the Kane grade school.

By the time we got back home it was almost time for supper. I doubt any of them made it out tonight. They were pretty stuffed from lunch and most brought home leftovers.

All in all, It was a wonderful trip.

And thanks to our B E A U TIFUL tour guide, Tonya, for making sure we got to our destination. I know we enjoyed having you join us.

We played a really fun new game today. It’s called “Dice & Grab”.

Players roll 2 dice and whoever gets doubles get the corresponding # prize bag.

I did 12 bags. 2 has each 1-6. Each bag had that number of prizes in it, 2 had 2 and 5 had 5. And so on. It turned out to be so fun. We will definitely be playing this one again and we will have more prizes for sure.
