After the rain, God provided the beauty of a double rainbow, just before clearing up for a successful parade. Thanks to all who came out to see it!!!

Took a wonderful trip to the Treehouse wildlife refuge today to visit the animal ambassadors. This volunteer organization rescues, rehabs and releases injured wildlife back into nature. They have a great website to explain their services and their mission.

Of course we had to end the day with ice cream!

What a fun day we had celebrating our Dads! Picnic style lunch in the 4 seasons and courtyards, followed by homemade ice cream. The rain put a damper on the fishing idea, but all enjoyed the day anyway with good company and conversation. (We're all a little stuffed from the good food as well.)
