The tenants at Hawthorne Inn enjoyed a trip to Grafton last week for lunch at Pere Marquette Lodge. They enjoyed catching up with our favorite PA Chandra and celebrating Bonna Gillespie turning 94 years young.

Liberty Village of Jerseyville is proud to present a donation from the Don E. Fike family foundation, to the White Hall Drag-O-Way Charitable Foundation. Don Fike has spent over 50 years improving the lives of the elderly and developmentally disabled individuals by providing them with exceptional homes. His unique cultural legacy, instilled in each of his homes, will endure for generations to come. In his lifetime Don has either raced, worked on, sponsored or owned race cars. He personally drove at local IL tracks, such as the Mazon Speedbowl, where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2010. He developed RFMS Racing in 1996 and had considerable success with over 60 feature wins alongside his sons and numerous other drivers. His generosity and compassion for others have made a profound difference in the lives of many. Liberty Village is proud to be a part of the Fike family.

The tenants at Hawthorne Inn hosted their first annual “The Talent Among Us” art show this week. Each submission was carefully planned and executed. They showcased paintings, sewing, sculptures, pottery and special past memories that define them best. They are already brainstorming for next year.
The talent is real! Great job everyone 👏
