One of our very own residents, Mr. Joe Bargeron, is officially answering to “Mr. June” 😄👏
The Press-Sentinel recently featured him as the June 2026 Calendar Star, captured in a fun moment as Mrs. Sally Sculati admires his BIG catch! 🐟✨

This special feature brings back great memories from this past summer when our residents were treated to an unforgettable fishing outing hosted by Moxley Ministries. Smiles, sunshine, fellowship, and plenty of fish tales were shared—and clearly, the memories are still making waves! 💙

Kayla and Kristi from Hospice of South Georgia went above and beyond this year, gifting our residents and staff with thoughtful, meaningful presents that touched hearts and created lasting memories. Their kindness is a beautiful reflection of what hospice care is truly about—compassion, dignity, comfort, and walking alongside families and loved ones during some of life’s most tender moments.

Hospice is not about giving up; it’s about living fully, with expert pain management, emotional and spiritual support, and a team that cares deeply for both the individual and their family. Hospice of South Georgia exemplifies this every single day through their nurses, caregivers, and support staff who lead with empathy and love.

We are incredibly grateful for this partnership and for nurses like Kayla and Kristi who remind us that the smallest gestures can make the biggest impact. Thank you for caring so deeply for our residents, our families, and our team. 💙

If you grew up in or around Jesup, chances are “The Pig” brings back the smell of slow-cooked BBQ and a whole lot of memories. 🐷❤️
Long before chain restaurants and fast food on every corner, The Pig was the BBQ spot—where families gathered after ballgames, friends met for chopped pork plates, and the smoke rolling from the pit let you know something good was cooking. It wasn’t fancy, but it was legendary. The Pig was known for its rich BBQ flavor, simple sides, and the way it brought the Jesup community together.

That’s exactly why we love recreating those moments for our residents. 💭✨
The taste of familiar BBQ has a powerful way of unlocking stories, smiles, and memories from years gone by. As a special treat, we proudly welcome outside food into our community—so our residents can enjoy the flavors they grew up loving, just like The Pig.

Because here, it’s more than a BBQ plate… it’s a trip down memory lane and a reminder of the places that shaped our town. 🧡

🎶 Do you wanna build a snowman? ☃️

At At Home Senior Living, we love when our residents get to “bundle up” and head back to their old homesteads—where memories are made, family gathers, and the warmth of home fills the air. Whether it’s an overnight stay, family time by the fire, or simply being surrounded by familiar faces, those moments are priceless.

While they’re away, our halls may feel a little quieter (and we might miss a friendly snowman or two ☃️), our hearts are full knowing our residents are exactly where they want to be—spending meaningful time with the people and places they love most.

Because here, assisted living doesn’t mean giving up home—it means having the freedom to visit, make memories, and always have a warm, welcoming place waiting when you return. 💙🏡

🎄💚 We had a VERY merry Grinchmas! 💚🎄

Our Grinchmas party was filled with laughter, joy, and the sweetest moments shared between our residents and their families. From fun games to big smiles and even bigger hearts, it was truly a day to remember. There’s nothing more special than seeing generations come together to celebrate, make memories, and enjoy time with the ones they love.

A special thank you to Heartland Hospice for spending the day with us, helping with games, and most importantly, loving on our residents. Your presence and kindness made the day even more meaningful.
