In Support of Texas Flood Victims 🇺🇸
This morning, we had the honor of dropping off a pallet of much-needed supplies to help support the families impacted by the devastating floods in Texas.

While we were there, we learned that the truck will be heading directly to Texas at 1:00 PM today to deliver these donations.

There’s still time to help — if you’d like to contribute, please bring your items to James E. Bacon Elementary School before 1 PM. Every item counts and will go straight to those in need.

Our hearts and prayers are with the families of those who are still missing and those who tragically lost their lives in the flooding.

As many of you have seen, devastating floods have recently struck areas surrounding Kerr County, Texas — claiming the lives of over 120 people with more than 160 still missing. Entire communities have been left in crisis, and they need our help.

We’re proud to be supporting the Wayne County High School Athletic Department in their effort to collect much-needed supplies for families affected by this tragedy. A semi-truck will be heading to the impacted area next week to deliver donations directly to those in need.

Items Needed:
🛒 Non-perishable food items
🧴 Hygiene products
💧 Cases of bottled water
🍼 Diapers
⚡ Generators
🌾 W**d eaters
🪚 Chainsaws

Please Note: They are not accepting clothing or blankets at this time due to limited storage space.

Happy Independence Day from the Bone & Joint Institute!

Wishing everyone a fun, safe, and memorable 4th of July weekend as we celebrate the birth of our great nation!

Friday was a proud and meaningful day at Bone & Joint as we raised the American flag for the first time on our newly installed flagpole in front our main clinic in Jesup. Just in time for Independence Day, this flag stands as a symbol of the freedoms we cherish, the sacrifices made to protect them, and God’s continued blessings over our community and country.

A heartfelt thank you to Jim Poindexter for helping with the installation and leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Jim is not only a patient and Veteran, but a dear friend to all of us here at Bone & Joint.

We’re also so grateful to Cameron Mattingly for blessing this special occasion and closing us in a beautiful prayer. Moments like these remind us what faith, freedom, and community are truly about.

Mrs. Rourke came to the Bone & Joint with advanced hip arthritis that was unresponsive to conservative care, significantly limiting her mobility, function, and ability to enjoy daily activities. Dr. Grisez performed a robotic-assisted direct anterior total hip replacement. At her two-week follow-up, she is recovering well, walking independently, and experiencing marked improvement in both pain and mobility.

Today is a bittersweet day at the Bone & Joint.

We said goodbye to our amazing Front Office Manager and Marketing Director, Shelley Patterson, as she moves on to her next adventure. Shelley, thank you for the years of hard work, laughter, and heart you’ve shared with us — you’ll always be part of the Bone & Joint family!

At the same time, we celebrated a beautiful new beginning with a baby shower for our wonderful Bridgett Wainright! We can’t wait to meet the newest little member of the Bone & Joint family.

A day full of mixed emotions, but all centered around love, family, and community.
