Our winner today is our funny and talented Social worker Donna Wells!! Social workers in hospice care make a significant impact, and their work goes beyond the ordinary. They guide families through tough decisions and offer a listening ear, making a difference in the world. We love and appreciate all you do for us!!💕

Our winner for day 2 goes to our sweet CNA Adasha Thomas! She took on the battle and guessed the right color❤️

God said, "I need somebody willing to comfort, care and hold their hand in times of need, and if no one is there for them, do the same while they lay there dying at the end. I need somebody who can comfort their family members with a hug, and tell them their love one will be missed, while not letting them see you dry your eyes.

Many people may not know October is National Chaplain Appreciation Month. These quiet leaders give emotional guidance to our patients and their families as a spiritual counselor.
Chaplains recognize the physical, mental, and spiritual challenges our patients and staff face every day. They get to know their patients and are comfortable behind the scenes. They do much more than counsel. They are a listening ear, a friend and a kind word when needed most. We couldn't let October come to a close without saying thank you.
