We are going to have some staff shortages through the upcoming months. We have maternity leave and two employees which need time of for personal and family medical leave. As we look forward to trying to serve our patients we will have a few changes to make sure the remaining staff does not get burn out. At this point we would like to keep our Saturday hours from 8:30 to 11:30. We realize not everyone can come during the week and there are many vet clinic that no longer offer these hours. Our only change planned at this point is to close at 3:00 on Wednesdays. Depending on staff availability we may have to close at noon a few Wednesdays. We are excited to have a college student on board this summer to also help. As always Dr. Reid will be available for small animal emergencies for existing clients after hours. Thank you for your understanding. We can not wait until everyone is back.

The clinic is looking for someone to plow our small back parking lot. Our regular person has not been showing up to plow my house or the parking lot. Please call the clinic if interested. Big thanks to my new neighbor Landon for plowing my house.

We have received questions about the new 1 year flea and tick injection. After many years of practice and seeing many recalls after a product has been on the market, I am choosing to take a cautious approach. I have practiced through the recall of Proheart a heartworm injectable and a recall of Lymes vaccine to name a few examples. At this time I have chosen not to carry this product. Although the product is more profitable for the vet clinic it does not pencil out to money savings for our pet owners by the time you add a heartworm pill. I also ask myself if I feel safe using this product on my personal family members and if I can not say yes than I do not want my patients using it. Please reach out with any questions Thanks

Starting today through next week we ask you to be patient with us. We will be short staffed and will be closing Wednesday the 8th at 12. Office will reopen Thursday morning at normal time. Like always if you have a medical emergency Dr. Reid will be available to see you. Just call the clinic number. Also we are looking for one more individual to fill in on our time next March, April and May. We will be short staffed due to maternity and medical leave of several employees. Please reach out to Dr. Reid if interested. Great for a retired individuals looking for a little something to do.
