What's new Wednesday?!?!

We are so excited to announce that we will have another Licensed Massage Therapist joining our team! Hooray!!!!!!

Shay Weatherly, Licensed Massage Therapist graduated from Carlson College of Massage Therapy in August of 2025. Shay grew up in Black Hawk County and migrated to the Marion area where she started her career caring for others as a CNA and home health aide. She is passionate about helping others feel and function well so massage therapy is a great transition for her next chapter in her career. She enjoys fishing, reading, and spending time with God and family!

Shay utilizes a mix of swedish massage and neuromuscular massage techniques (NMT) which includes a mix of trigger point work, stretching, and deep tissue work to help with pain relief, enhance flexibility and range of motion, reduce stress and tension, and improve circulation. Shay is passionate about learning and already has her sights on a few advanced courses in the near future!

Thankful Thursday:
We are celebrating Carter's FIVE year anniversary at Revive Bodyworks, LLC!!!

Carter has grown so much as an individual and massage therapist.
He has worked really hard on his communication skills so that he can customize each session to the clients specific needs and goals.
He continues to learn new skills to add to his tool kit.
He provides wonderful relief for those with neck, shoulder, and hip discomfort.
He gives everyone a warm welcome and an appreciative goodbye.
Carter helps with so many things behind the scenes such as tech issues, offering insightful ideas, and he is our "plant dad" in the office.

Did you know that Carter is also a very talented musician?
He can play several instruments and is the drummer in a local band.

All of this to say that we are so happy to have him as a BIG part of the Revive Bodyworks Team!!!!

We hope this message finds you well. We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and trust in our services. We genuinely love what we do and feel incredibly fortunate to have careers that allow us to help others on their wellness journeys.

It has been an honor to serve you and our broader community. We’re excited to share that Rachel will be celebrating 30 years as a massage therapist this July—what an amazing milestone! Revive Bodyworks has now been in business for 13 years, a major achievement for a small business, especially in today’s ever-changing economy. Since reopening after COVID, we’ve come back stronger than ever, relocating to a new space nearly five years ago and continuing to grow and expand our offerings.

We are passionate about learning and constantly bringing in new services to support your health, wellness, and confidence. Our goal is always to add value to your experience with us. Every massage session is customized to your specific goals and needs and may include a combination of bamboo, cupping, and Swedish massage modalities—all included in one price. While many places charge extra for enhancements like bamboo or cupping, we include them as part of your service.

We also offer complimentary aromatherapy, warm towels, bottled water, and often share educational tips to support your wellness between sessions. Additionally, we’ve incorporated advanced tools and technology such as our infrared sauna and LED therapy to help your body recover when you can’t get scheduled for a massage.

That brings us to an important update:
We have not raised our prices in over three years.
While we’ve worked hard to absorb rising costs, the reality of increased expenses—including supplies, continuing education, operational costs, and fair compensation for our talented team—means we must make a pricing adjustment.

Beginning November 2025, there will be an increase in our massage therapy service prices. We do not have an exact date set yet as we are also working behind the scenes to upgrade our online booking services and operating systems.

We completely understand that changes in pricing may affect how often or how long of a massage session you might schedule. If you’d like to adjust your appointment duration or frequency, please don’t hesitate to reach out. For any questions, feel free to contact Rachel at 319-360-2394.
