Dr. Chelsey Carter, Internist, will be joining Dr. Lance Hendrix at Internal Medicine of Southeast Georgia and the hospital medical staff September 2. She is a 2012 graduate of Jeff Davis County High School and a 2016 graduate of Armstrong State University. She attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences, St. Kitts before completing her Internal Medicine Residency training at the Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership in Athens, Georgia, where she has served as Chief Resident Physician. Our practice has an immediate opening for an LPN or a Certified Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate must be reliable, able to multitask, work at a fast pace, be a team player and have an excellent work ethic. Medical office experience is a must, and a working knowledge of Eclinicalworks (EMR) is a plus.
Responsibilities would include assisting physicians and other providers with exams and procedures, administering injections, vital signs, prescriptions, prior authorizations and referrals.

The ideal candidate would be professional, friendly, able to multitask in a very busy environment, detail oriented and dependable. Medical office experience, medical terminology proficiency is preferred and knowledge of Eclinicalworks EMR is a plus.
