O’Shea Memorial Clinic Receives Grant from the Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas to Improve Patient Care
Jetmore, KS — The O’Shea Memorial Clinic and Hodgeman County Health Center are pleased to announce that they have been awarded funding from the Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas to support improvements in patient care for residents of Hodgeman County.
“We are truly grateful to the Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas for their generous support,” said Sidni Durler, CEO/CFO. “These funds will go a long way toward making much-needed updates at the O’Shea Memorial Clinic and ensuring that our patients continue to receive the highest quality of care close to home.”
The awarded funds will be used to upgrade clinical equipment and enhance patient safety and comfort.
The Hodgeman County Health Center in conjunction with O'Shea Memorial Clinic extends our sincere thanks to the Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas for their continued investment in rural health and the well-being of our community.

ISB Halloween Carnival was last Friday. The residents enjoyed popcorn and cotton candy while judging the staff costumes. Jeri Diehl won resident favorite in her nun costume. We watched the grade school children parade through the facility in their Halloween best. Everyone looked amazing. A happy Halloween was had by all.

Yesterday was the final day of the fall Kids Can program where 6th grade volunteers come over weekly after school to play bingo with the residents. They saved their "bingo bucks" from winning bingo games. We had a blind auction where residents and kids bid on bags of goodies without knowing what was inside. There were a few surprises, some good, some not so good. Everyone had a blast.
