Update.
I had my 2 week post op doctor visit. He took the compression bandage off and the regular bandage. Said that the incision is healing nicely. I will still have to wear the heavy back brace for a while.
I’m still having heavy nerve pain. He said it should start to lessen several months down the road. The PT seems to agitate the nerve and causes lots of pain afterwards. Using a walker to get around and still have to have a lot of help. Also have numbness in my right foot and leg which also causes pain.
Our prayers are for complete nerve healing as well as the back.
Thank you everyone for all the prayers, please continue to pray for us. We also want to say Thank you for our precious friends and neighbors who brought food and check on us. We love you so much.

Thanks everyone so much for the prayers. Please keep me in them the next couple of weeks. Home health will come out for 2 weeks. Then PT in town. Love you all so much!!!

I sure do miss you all.
I have a Prayer Request
As most of you know , I have had back issues for a long time. I was supposed to have had surgery back in March but due to COVID , it was canceled. It has gotten much worse. In December I had another MRI. It showed progressive deterioration of bone and disks. I have 5 bulging and 1 ruptured disk in the lower back. Pre-Op went well today so on Monday I will have Surgery. Doctor will be cleaning the disk out of the spinal canal to relieve pressure on the nerves.
Our prayers are that this will last for several years before I have to have hardware installed.
Thank you all for prayers during this time.

Hey everyone! Hope all are doing well. Wanted you to meet Happy. He had a rough go of it. The smallest of a large litter of a first time mom. Had to take him inside to care for him. He is eating well and gaining weight normally now. He has a super sweet personality and jumps up and runs around , then comes to the corner for me to pick him up. Loves cuddles.
