Please pray for Jim Thorpe and all the firefighters diligently, tirelessly, and bravely fighting a massive wildfire that has spread on Bear Mountain. What started as a small brush fire on Saturday 4/19 has taken over 600 acres. It is estimated that they will be fighting this for about a week. Donations for our brave brothers and sisters on the mountain can be dropped off at Diligent Fire Company located at 330 Center Ave in Jim Thorpe. They are asking for water, electrolyte drinks such as Gatorade or Prime, non perishable food items (protein bars, breakfast bars, beef jerky, etc) and items such as baby wipes and foot powder.

Please remember our long time friend and dispatcher, Joe Garman, and his family at this time. Joe worked with our owner, Mark, for a long time and they called each other “birthday buddies” due to sharing the same birthday. Your presence will be greatly missed, Joe.
