Let’s Talk Realistic Expectations for Sclerotherapy

This treatment is gentle and effective—but it’s not magic, and it’s not instant. Here’s what you should know:

✨ Most clients need 2 to 4 treatments (sometimes more)

⏳ Results develop gradually over 2 to 12 weeks

🌒 Some veins may darken before they fade (that’s a good sign—it means the treatment is working!)

🔄 New veins can appear over time, especially if genetics or lifestyle factors are involved

🧦 Compression stockings are your best friend post-treatment—they help optimize your results

💧 Hydration helps: Staying well-hydrated can support circulation and healing after treatment. It’s a small habit with a big impact.

🧘‍♀️ Gentle movement is encouraged: Light walking daily (even just 15–30 minutes) can help your body circulate the treated blood vessels and speed up recovery.

🌞 Sun protection matters: Treated areas should be protected from sun exposure to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation while healing.
