Solace Counseling and Consulting LLC

Solace Counseling and Consulting LLC Solace Counseling and Consulting LLC, a mental health practice dedicated to the growth and well-bein Life Happens.

In the most challenging moments, it helps to have a therapist who is prepared to help you navigate life's challenges with a holistic perspective. We help clients navigate individual, couple and family pressures associated with anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal conflict and grief. At its best, therapy explores the influence of one's mind (thoughts and emotions), body (physical responses) and spirit (sense of meaning and purpose). Our approach to therapy is oriented toward the whole self. We journey with clients to discover healthier paths and meaningful life change. In this practice, our clinical training emphasizes the integration of theological and psychological theory into responsible clinical practice. Our clinical experiences range broadly from Marriage and Family Therapy to Pastoral Care and Counseling with specific training in Adolescents, Family Systems, College Counseling, Crisis and Trauma. Pastors: when was the last time you checked in on your own soul?

So many leaders are preaching, visiting, problem-solving, and quietly running on empty. Our upcoming live webinar, “Caring for Souls Without Burning Out,” is a gentle space to talk about what ministry is really asking of you—and what your mind and body might be saying in return.

We will explore how to recognize early signs of burnout, right-size your role in pastoral care, and name practices that help you stay grounded while serving others.

Celebrating Community and Connection: A Day at the Eastlake YMCA Black History Parade!

Imagine the energy and unity at the Eastlake YMCA Black History Parade, where our very own Dr. Ca Trice Glenn took center stage as an invited guest, hosting the Parade Grand Marshall, RC Pruitt!

Dr. Glenn's presence wasn't just a highlight; it was a testament to her dedication and contributions to our community. Her passion for fostering understanding and connection brought an extra layer of significance to this vibrant celebration.

And let's not forget Solace Counseling and Consulting, who were right there as a vendor, spreading the message of mental wellness. Their Brain Dump Journals flew off the shelves, proving just how powerful a tool they are for mental health and well-being. It's like giving your mind a breath of fresh air!

But the real treat? The parade itself! A beautiful tapestry of culture, history, and community spirit, it was a day where inclusivity and joy took the spotlight.

For those who missed it, I recommend checking out a photo collage capturing the day's colorful moments, from Dr. Glenn's inspiring participation to the bustling energy at the vendor booth. It's a feast for the eyes and a reminder of the power of community.

Were you there? Share your favorite moments or thoughts about the parade in the comments! And if you're curious about the Brain Dump Journals or want to learn more about mental wellness, swing by Solace Counseling and Consulting. Let's keep the conversation going!
