Solace Counseling and Consulting LLC

Solace Counseling and Consulting LLC Solace Counseling and Consulting LLC, a mental health practice dedicated to the growth and well-bein Life Happens.

In the most challenging moments, it helps to have a therapist who is prepared to help you navigate life's challenges with a holistic perspective. We help clients navigate individual, couple and family pressures associated with anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal conflict and grief. At its best, therapy explores the influence of one's mind (thoughts and emotions), body (physical responses) and spirit (sense of meaning and purpose). Our approach to therapy is oriented toward the whole self. We journey with clients to discover healthier paths and meaningful life change. In this practice, our clinical training emphasizes the integration of theological and psychological theory into responsible clinical practice. Our clinical experiences range broadly from Marriage and Family Therapy to Pastoral Care and Counseling with specific training in Adolescents, Family Systems, College Counseling, Crisis and Trauma. Dr. Glenn had an amazing time speaking at NABFEME Amplified in Atlanta on “Tapping Into Your Purpose.” We talked about using spirituality to find clarity, set healthy practices, and make purpose-driven choices in school and in life. Thank you to the students who shared powerful stories and the organizers who made space for learning and connection.

"Isolation cannot fight darkness." Ever felt like the world is a little too dim sometimes? You're not alone. One of the most powerful ways to light up the world is by coming together as a community. It's like a patchwork quilt, each piece unique but essential to creating something beautiful and warm.

In a world where darkness can sometimes feel overwhelming, let’s be the light for each other. Let’s honor our shared humanity, recognizing that within every heart beats a universal desire for connection and understanding.

Have you experienced the magic of unity recently? Or maybe you'd like to join a community initiative? Share your stories or ideas with us below!

Church staff often carry far more than their job descriptions show.

These 5 insights highlight why staff culture, workload, and emotional health matter so much for the life of your church. Healthy staff teams are not a luxury. They are essential to sustainable ministry.

I created a printable “Church Staff in the United States: 10 Key Insights” one-sheet you can use with your senior leadership, elders, and staff. It is a simple tool to start honest conversations about staff well-being, burnout, and support.

Download the one sheet on our website and share it at your next leadership meeting.

🌟 Ever wonder how faith and therapy can go hand in hand? 🌟

Imagine walking a path where spirituality and mental health support each other like two friends on a journey. The powerful quote "faith and therapy can coexist" is a gentle reminder that you don't have to choose between your beliefs and seeking help.

In my own journey, I found that embracing therapy alongside faith opened doors to healing I never knew existed. It was like finding a beautiful balance on a seesaw, where one side didn't outweigh the other.

Have you experienced this harmony between faith and therapy? How do they support your personal growth and well-being? Share your story in the comments below! Let's spark a conversation and support each other.

📢 Don't forget to share this message with someone who might need to hear it today. Remember, seeking help doesn't mean giving up your beliefs; it can mean strengthening them.
