During her residency training, Dr. Tina Lu developed an interest in minimally invasive surgery and engaged in studies focused on the use of spinal morphine injection for pain control for laparoscopic hysterectomies. This , we’re focusing on a simple step with a major impact, especially for our pregnant patients: keeping your hands clean. Good hand hygiene is one of the most effective ways to prevent infections that can affect you and your growing baby.
🧼Wash for at least 20 seconds with soap and water.
🖐️Be sure to scrub all surfaces, including your fingertips and the backs of your hands.
💦Rinse well and dry with a clean towel.
✨When soap and water aren't available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
