On New Year's Day, we welcomed Cole, Adonis and Sloan - the first babies born at Emory Johns Creek Hospital, Emory Decatur Hospital and Emory University Hospital Midtown. Happy birthday to all babies born on Jan. 1, 2025, and congratulations to the parents and families of these three bundles of joy!

As the new year rang-in in metro Atlanta, Emory Healthcare celebrated the first babies born in 2025 at three of its hospitals.

Team EJCH is sending a HUGE THANK YOU to the ArtReach club from Chattahoochee High School for sharing their fabulous talents with us today! About 25 students playing all different instruments played in our lobby, everything from Star Wars to Elvis. What a wonderful treat!

Tax Day isn't all bad - our friends at Emory Decatur Hospital got to celebrate a new baby who is already off to a great start in planning for college!

Eleanor Grace was born lucky. As the first baby to be delivered at Emory Decatur Hospital on April 15, Tax Day, she was awarded a college scholarship.

#TeamEJCH is hustling to make 1000 sandwiches for The Sandwich Project today! These ham & cheese and pb & j sandwiches will be distributed to people in Metro Atlanta experiencing food insecurity. We have volunteers from so many departments! Shout out to Nursing, Rehab, Pharmacy, Food & Nutrition, Cardiology, Imaging, Administration, Patient Experience, Respiratory, OR, Quality (who designed this entire amazing process using Lean methodology!), and everyone else that's helping!!!

HAPPENING NOW!!! Team EJCH is wrapping up National Healthcare Week with a staff cookout in the backyard! Our staff is amazing, so dedicated to our patients - and bouncy slides!

Today, we got to honor every staff member at Emory Healthcare who had a milestone anniversary in 2021, from 5 years all the way to 45 years! We held a viewing party to watch the virtual ceremony and had so much fun answering trivia questions and cheering for #TeamEJCH. Congratulations and thank you to all of our honorees!

April is Donate Life Month to celebrate and raise awareness around organ donation. This morning, we raised the Donate Life flag here at EJCH (despite the rain!) and heard from a staff member whose daughter received a liver transplant.
