One thing that’s shifted since having my daughter is my own yoga practice. It’s no longer a daily ritual—it’s something I have to intentionally make space for. But when I do… when I follow the feel-good movement, breathe deeply, and let creativity lead—it feels so damn good. Like coming home to myself.

There’s something powerful about remembering who you were before motherhood, and honoring who you’ve become because of it.

I’m so excited to visit New England next week and return to my roots in hot power vinyasa—the practice that shaped me, grounded me, and introduced me to the most incredible community. Valentine’s Day is about more than romance — it’s about the energy of the heart.

In yoga, Anahata (the heart chakra) is the center of love, compassion, and connection. When it’s open, we feel peace, joy, and harmony.

Psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross said there are only two emotions: love and fear.
All positive emotions stem from love. All negative emotions stem from fear. And we can’t experience both at the same time — when we’re in fear, we’re not in love.
Cellular biologist Bruce Lipton explains that stress shifts the body into fight-or-flight, shutting down digestion and immunity. But when we operate from love, the body moves into harmony — open, flowing, and functioning optimally. We cannot be in fear and in harmony at the same time. It’s one or the other.

Love isn’t just a feeling — it’s a physiological state. And it might be the most powerful medicine we have.

Want to know what makes our summer retreats different from the rest? 🌿

Many of you may not know this, but before I was a yoga teacher, I was a vegan chef (swipe to see some of my creations)—so these Vermont retreats feel like a beautiful coming together of both of my passions. I’m so excited to share not only the practices that have shaped my life on the mat, but also the creativity and nourishment that happens in the kitchen.

We pour our hearts into every detail, sourcing as much as possible locally and organically—making everything from scratch, from the bread to the dips to the sauces. Food isn’t just a meal to us; it’s part of the experience and the healing. We’ll be sharing the foundations of an anti-inflammatory diet and lifestyle, and you’ll even go home with a guide to living anti-inflammatory, along with a ton of recipes, kitchen essentials, and practical kitchen hacks to make healthy living feel simple and sustainable.

Beyond the kitchen, we guide the yoga classes ourselves and share practical tools for everyday wellbeing—breathwork, mindfulness, and simple ways to weave yoga into real life. Expect learning, deep rest, meaningful connection… and plenty of laughter along the way.
