Did you know??

A virtual doula can positively impact your pregnancy, labor & postpartum 🤍

Especially when you feel alone.

Maybe you’re:

• living overseas in a challenging cultural context

• unable to find a provider or birthplace that respects your freedom to navigate pregnancy through faith in God as Creator

• a military spouse, unsure if your primary birth partner will even be there

• or simply craving someone who understands how your worldview shapes your decisions

Virtual doula support isn’t just about convenience — it’s about connection.

It’s having one-on-one support from someone who:

• listens to you through contractions

• encourages you in ways that fit you

• helps you process medical conversations before labor

• reflects what stage of labor this looks like

• suggests next steps aligned with your preferences

• supports you through pregnancy leading up to birth — not just in the moment

Wouldn’t it be a relief to know you’re not filtering medical decisions alone — and that the person supporting you shares your faith and values?

✨ That’s the power of virtual doula care.

“Is a doula a midwife?”
No — and that distinction matters. 🤍

If you’re planning a hospital birth, you may feel like your only option for support is a midwife… or no support at all.

But medical care and continuous pregnancy + labor support are not the same thing.

As a virtual doula, I provide non-medical pregnancy and labor support — so you’re not walking this journey alone.

You get
🔹️education,
🔹️resources,
🔹️prep,
🔹️practice, and
🔹️guidance
that equips your chosen birth supporter to confidently support you in labor… plus postpartum follow-up.

You don’t have to choose between faith, support, and a hospital birth. 🤍

Local Doula Group for comaraderie, backup support and encouragement? I'm in!

Professional Doulas of Charleston member since 2017 when I moved my business to

💫 My favorite part: the professional care btwn members.

Yes,
• we can decompress hard experiences &
• get feedback in this closed door setting (many times thru tears)
• refer potential clients to a handful of doulas I'd trust them with
• be each other's backups so our lives are still functional while on-call
• keep up to date on hospital practices, regardless of policy (bc one of us has recently been at some hospital in town)

Plus, socials in lieu of business mtgs twice a year helps, bc, ultimately, these women are people I want to spend time with!

These nametags are 🔥 !

Why is winter so hard… especially when you’re newly pregnant? 🤍

Your body feels tired. Your emotions feel tender. And everyone around you seems to be charging into the New Year while you’re just trying to breathe.

But winter isn’t failure—it’s preparation.

As I prune my lemon tree, I’m reminded of Jesus’ words in John 15:1–2: the branches that will bear fruit are lovingly pruned so they can grow more fruitful. And just like God, we reflect Him when we recognize that every season has a purpose (Ecclesiastes 3:1–2).

Early pregnancy is not the season to push harder.
It’s the season to let go, simplify, and make space for new life.

✨ You can prune in preparation for new growth.
✨ You should honor this quiet, sacred beginning.
✨ And you don’t have to navigate it alone.

If this speaks to your heart, SHARE with your newly pregnant friends who need permission to slow down and trust what God is growing. 🌱

You’re right to ask: “Who is Amanda to guide me through pregnancy and birth prep?” 🤍

I’m Amanda—certified birth doula, DONA International member since 2014, with Advanced VBAC training (VBAC Link) and Advanced Childbirth Education (GoMidwife). I’ve served alongside birth professionals as a local doula group member since 2018 with —supporting women through real decisions, real labors, and real faith-filled courage.

But credentials aren’t the whole story.

I also hold a Master’s in Biblical Counseling (SBTS) and serve my local church as a servant leader in sound/tech. My work is grounded in Scripture, discernment, and a deep respect for the freedom God gives you to choose wisely.

On a personal note: I’m a teacher at heart, an outgoing introvert, a plant-loving, 3× mom, and someone who believes creativity (and good fiction!) shapes how we process birth. I move my body through play, sneak turmeric into everything, and show up with warmth, clarity, and calm when things feel overwhelming.

✨ The result?
You stop wondering if you’re “doing pregnancy right” and start thinking:
“I NEED Amanda to guide me in a confident Christian birth this pregnancy.”

If this is your first pregnancy, it can be hard to tell the difference between
“this is normal” and “something feels off.”

✴️ Nausea.
✴️ Pelvic pain.
✴️ Constipation.

You’re often told discomforts like these are just part of pregnancy—but no one explains when they’re expected… and when they might be a sign it’s time to make a shift.

That uncertainty can leave you second-guessing your body.

My free handout of 8 Common Pregnancy Discomforts helps you:
• Understand what’s commonly experienced vs. what’s not always normal
• Feel more comfortable assessing your symptoms
• Realize there are physician-supported natural remedies to implement
• Learn to trust your discernment— “Is this pointing to something deeper?”

Confusion doesn’t mean you’re doing pregnancy wrong—it means you’re ready for a guide 🤍
That is exactly why exists!

Finding out you’re pregnant is beautiful…
and also the moment many women quietly think:
“Okay—but where do I even start?”

You want to do this well.
You want to be informed, faithful, intentional—
but everything feels scattered.

So you google.
And save posts.
And hope clarity eventually shows up.

But information alone doesn’t create confidence.

Faith-centered Virtual Doula Services give you something different:
✨ Help naming your birth goals
✨ A general roadmap that makes the process feel less overwhelming
✨ Skills that prepare you for the expected unknowns—not just the ideal plan

Instead of guessing your next step,
you feel guided.
Supported.
Steady.

Confusion doesn’t mean you’re behind—it means you’re ready for support 🤍

There’s a unique kind of stretch that happens in a second pregnancy.

You’re growing a new life…while holding space for the little one already in your arms.

You’re trying to meet everyone’s needs…while quietly wondering who’s meeting yours.
And no one warned you about that tension —the tender, exhausting tug-of-war between caring for others and needing care yourself.

As a second-time mom, you already know the rhythm of late-night wakeups, the art of calming big emotions, the constant mental load of “What does my child need next?”
But now, as you prepare for a hospital birth, you’re also carrying the pressure of making good decisions, advocating for yourself, and hoping this time feels more supported than the first.

It’s a lot.
And it’s okay that it feels like a lot.
Because God never asked you to carry this pregnancy alone.

There’s a beautiful shift that happens when you finally have support that supports you:
🌿 You gain margin — emotional, mental, spiritual — to keep showing up for your family without running yourself dry.
🌿 You feel anchored in clarity about what matters most for your hospital birth.
🌿 You learn practical, confidence-building skills that you and your spouse can use together.
🌿 You stop bracing for pressure and start preparing with peace.

That’s exactly what my 1:1 Virtual Birth Prep Services give you:
✔ Skills-based lessons for you and your spouse
✔ Easy-to-learn tools you can practice while commuting, cooking, or even working out
✔ A safe, faith-centered space to talk through decisions
✔ Guidance that helps you feel supported, equipped, and uplifted — so you truly have room to love and care for the people God has entrusted to you

When you are supported, the whole family feels it.
And you don’t have to choose between caring for them and caring for yourself.

✨ Ready for a birth experience that gives you the margin you deserve — and the support you’ve been craving?

Some days in pregnancy you feel small… but not the beautiful, wonder-filled kind of small.

😣 More like the shrunk down kind — pressed on by opinions, nudged by timelines that aren’t yours, talked over in appointments, or quietly wondering if you’re “allowed” to choose something different than what everyone else expects.

You love your baby.

You want to do this well.

But the pressure makes you feel ill-equipped, overwhelmed, and sometimes even a little lost.

And yet…

There are moments — like standing beneath a massive, steady tree — when the Lord gently reminds you:

Being small is not the problem.

Being unsupported is.

Because small in God’s presence isn’t shrinking — it’s belonging.

➡️ It’s being held, guided, and surrounded by His strength.

➡️ It’s remembering that you were never meant to figure this out alone.

When you prepare for birth with individualized, faith-rooted support, something shifts:

🌿 “Small” starts to feel like connection — to God, your body, your baby, and your growing confidence.

🌿 Decisions become clearer because you finally feel heard, respected, and capable.

🌿 You move through your pregnancy with a quiet, steady awe — noticing His meticulous care in every detail.

🌿 And you step into your next right choice feeling supported, not pressured… propelled, not pushed.

That’s exactly why I offer 1:1 Virtual Birth Prep Services — so you have a safe, prayer-filled space to process, learn, strengthen your voice, and prepare for a birth that reflects your values, your story, and God’s leading.

You don’t need to be louder.

You just need support that honors what God is doing in you.

✨ If your heart is craving that kind of care, encouragement, and clarity…

Check Yes or No...

Did your birth prep give you both
1️⃣ space to envision your ideal birth AND
2️⃣ skills to translate ideals into your hospital setting?

*if not, then it didn't do its job!

Did your birth prep both
1️⃣ provide tools you need to create a team environment with your medical supporters AND
2️⃣ remain the final decision-maker for yourself that God says you are responsible to be?

*if not, it didn't do its job!

Did your birth prep both
1️⃣ equip your non-medical Birth Partner with advocacy skills AND
2️⃣ clarity on how to support you thru the stages of labor?

*if not, then it didn't do its job!

**If you answered "No" to any or all of these, don't worry...I literally made an online Birth Prep course for Christians like you!
