Long time no see. We are still a ways away from reopening. However, I’ve really started pondering ideas for when we reopen. I want to get some feedback from our clients. Potential services to be offered are listed below:

Boarding
Daycare
Grooming
In-home grooming
Accessories for sale
Pet laundry service (think bulky dog beds or anything you wouldn’t want to run through your washer at home)
Pet photography
Remembrance items: ink and clay prints, whiskers, fur clippings, shadow boxes, etc.

We recently had to say goodbye to our dearest Polly. And with the nature of my current job in a veterinary ER, I’ve really been thinking about how important it is to pet parents to have things we can hold onto after losing our beloved fur babies.

I also know life is a little chaotic. And sometimes we realize the dog hasn’t had a bath in 6 months. And their blankets and beds are getting just as gross. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a whole reset? The dog gets a bath and the bedding gets a good wash too?

Sometimes things come up and we have to be out of the house longer than we want to be, leaving Fido left alone, unsure if you’ll have an accident to clean up when you return. But you don’t need overnight care? That’s where a new daycare option would come in. We would make sure your pet gets some one on one attention and plenty of potty breaks throughout the day.

Our last boarder will be going home in just a few days. 😓 it has been a wild year for us. We cannot thank you all enough for your support over the years. It brings us so much peace knowing that our loving clients will be here, waiting for our return. Serving our pet loving community is such a passion of ours. Fear not, Dakota and I plan to make all of our “improvements” to the facility while we are closed. (In all this spare time we have 🥴) so that when we reopen, we will be better than ever. I have high expectations set for resuming operations. You may start to see some “before and after” of these projects. Want to document the growth of the business and keep you all just as excited as we are for a “grand reopening”

It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the closing of Styled For Pets. It has truly been an honor to serve you all and care for your pets. Thank you for 6 wonderful years of trusting us with your fur babies. We want to apologize for the inconvenience and reassure you that we plan to reopen in the next few years. In the meantime, Styled For Pets is honoring our current bookings and look forward to a time when we get to see you again.

Enjoy some of the fun faces we’ve had this week!
We are so grateful for the influx of business. Definitely keeping everyone on their toes. Not pictured are the cat boarders and even a bird this week. Dakota and I are eager to see our grooming clients next week. Looking forward to some familiar faces as well as meeting some new clients 😊

The longer I am away from my business the more I long to return full time. We just can’t get Liam to a kidney transplant fast enough. But have no worries. We are trying to rearrange the work schedule in Ohio to allow us more TN time. Because we love what we do and miss being able to work with our lovely clients and their fur family.

We are no longer offering daycare services. There was quite a bit of hassle with the hourly rates and without daycare, pricing is simpler to charge nightly again. Updated pricing is posted on our website as well as listed below. We strive for consistency but are still learning to adjust as situations change. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to move forward as a small business.

These boys are just the cutest! Our boarding schedule has hit a sudden boom. If you’re in need of boarding in the coming weeks make sure to book ASAP.
