Spring is here, and our residents and staff are hard at work making Agape more beautiful than ever! 🌸

Did you know gardening offers so many wonderful benefits like improving physical health by encouraging gentle movement, increasing mental well-being by reducing stress and boosting mood, and providing a sense of purpose and accomplishment. Gardening also supports cognitive stimulation, encourages social interaction, and allows our residents to enjoy fresh air and sunshine—great for overall wellness! ☀️

We love watching our residents take pride in creating a space that feels like home. There’s nothing better than seeing their smiles as they help make Agape a place they’re proud to live in! 💚🌷

We recently hosted “A Waters Market”! 🛒

Each resident received “Activity Bucks” to shop from a variety of booths featuring fresh-baked goods, crisp produce, canned drinks, and even beautiful handmade jewelry created by both staff and fellow residents. 🍞🍓💎

Residents enjoyed the full experience of filling their shopping baskets, “exchanging” their bucks for items they loved, and strolling through the market while enjoying a warm spring breeze and great company.

It was more than just an activity—it was a chance to spark independence, social connection, and a little everyday joy that made the day feel truly special. ✨

We were also blessed to have a resident’s family volunteer to sing, sign, and play worship music. Spirits were high, voices filled the room, and we had an amazing time celebrating together. ❤️

Happy , Kyle! 🎉

Kyle is hard to catch for a photo (which he always respectfully declines anyway) because he’s almost always out on the floor working. Whether he’s staying until 11 PM painting facility walls, serving trays at holiday celebrations, or spending his weekends at parades and extracurricular activities, Kyle is always willing to jump in, put on a hairnet and gloves, and work side by side with the rest of the team.

Residents often brag about his willingness to help, and staff truly appreciate the dedication he shows to our residents, our team, and our facility every single day.

This board is proudly displayed in our employee conference room all week to recognize and celebrate him. We’re so grateful for everything you do, Kyle! 😊

This week, Agape welcomed Virginia from Longevity for a day full of fun, music, and movement! 🎶

Residents got active with fitness, dancing, and some creative collaboration with Science Hill students. Virginia picked a word over music, and the students came up with a dance move to share — sparking lots of laughter and smiles! We all broke a sweat and had an absolute blast together! 😅
