Our residents had the joy of serving others this week by helping prepare invitations for the CEF of NETN’s upcoming Vision Dinner. We’re always grateful for opportunities like this to give back and support such a meaningful mission. We also look forward to our monthly prayer gathering with Patti from CEF, a special time of encouragement and community for everyone involved. 🙏💌

A big thank you to our receptionist Julia for leading a wonderful Spanish class for our residents! A recent graduate of ETSU with her bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Julia shared what sparked her passion for the language, including her experience in a foreign exchange program in Spain. Our residents also learned the Spanish alphabet and practiced a few simple phrases—¡muy bien! 🇪🇸📚

Today we proudly wore blue in honor of Colon Cancer Awareness and to support those affected by it. 💙 Early detection saves lives, and we’re grateful to stand together to spread awareness and encouragement. Thank you to everyone who joined us for National Wear Blue Day! 💙

Yesterday we enjoyed our first Wine Down Wednesday out on the balcony in 2026! 🍷 The fresh air, sunshine, and great conversation made it the perfect way to relax together. We’re looking forward to many more afternoons spent soaking up the beautiful weather and good company. ☀️

We had such a special time celebrating National Old Stuff Day with our “Old Possessions & Treasures: Show and Tell”! Residents shared cherished heirlooms and meaningful keepsakes, each with a story more beautiful than the last. From delicate porcelain and hand-carved bread boards to antique Santa airplanes, Norwegian comic strips, and calligraphy lambskin birthday cards, the memories behind these treasures were priceless. Thank you to everyone who opened their hearts (and history books!) with us. ❤️

Love was definitely in the air at our Valentine’s Day party! 💕 We had a wonderful time celebrating with great music from our talented DJ, Ann Brooks, and delicious treats including chocolate-covered strawberries, cookies, and quiche. It was a sweet afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and lots of dancing! 💃🕺

We were so excited to have Heather from Heart of a Daughter join us today for a beautiful flower arranging activity with our residents! 🌸 Everyone had such a wonderful time getting creative and sharing laughs while designing their own arrangements. The yummy treats she brought were the perfect sweet touch to an already special afternoon!
