We are delighted to introduce Joshua Scalf as the newest addition to our team at Achieve. Joshua brings with him a wealth of expertise as a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist. Having earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Emory and Henry College, Joshua possesses a nuanced understanding of the interplay between psychological and physical factors in patient care.

With a robust background encompassing outpatient physical therapy, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute-care settings, Joshua is adept at tailoring treatment plans to suit each patient's unique needs. By implementing evidence-based practices and adopting a holistic approach, Joshua strives to empower patients on their journey towards optimal health and wellness.

Beyond the clinic walls, Joshua finds solace and adventure in the stunning landscapes of the Appalachian Mountains. Often accompanied by Cali and Moose, beloved Labrador companions, Joshua enjoys various outdoor pursuits, including hiking, trail running, kayaking, bouldering, and even the thrill of skydiving. We would like to welcome out new PTA Caylin to our Kingsport office!

"Hi! I am a PTA who graduated from Walters State Community College in May 2020. I have been a licensed PTA since June 2020; and I have worked in a few different settings my first three years. My experience includes one year of Skilled Nursing in Elizabethton, 6 months of Long-Term Acute Care in Oklahoma City, 3 months of LTAC in Macon GA, and 9 months of Outpatient Therapy in Beaufort, SC.
I enjoy hiking, backpacking, running, working out, yoga, and soccer. I thru hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2017, the Colorado Trail in 2019, and I just completed the Continental Divide Trail April-October 2023. Therefore, backpacking and physical fitness are a large part of my life."
