HTM MedTrans is offering an opportunity to learn a new skill and upgrade your driver's license to a Commercial Drivers License. There have never been more opportunities for drivers in our economy and you can earn Passenger credentials with HTM.

CDL required for placement. Class B or C and Passenger Endorsement.

We value experience from a variety of industries. Our transportation service is specialized which means that we don't expect you to know everything to get this job. What is helpful when finding the right person to pilot one of our vehicles?

Customer Service Experience - (Food Services, Retail, Nursing Assistants, Call Centers)

Driving Experience - 3 years of personal driving experience (any vehicle at any age)

Good Driving Record - No recent (5 years) major offenses (DWI, Driving while Suspended)

Your Role with Us
Bring a diverse population of passengers to various medical, dental, and social appointments throughout Broome County. We assist people using wheelchairs and stretchers with transportation from their homes, nursing facilities and hospitals to these appointments. Through caring, reliable and professional service you will feel a sense of community while partnering with our local health care and social work professionals.

We're offering flexible hours in a full or part time position. We look for balance between your personal and work schedules. Work as few as 18 or as many as 50 hours based on personal and business needs.

Earn a living wage. We offer a range between $14-$15/hr based on your experience and skills.

Day and Evening shift available.

Take time when you need it. We offer paid time off as well as selected paid holidays.

Serving our community’s health care system is such a socially rewarding experience. Not only do we get to meet some of the most interesting elders in our area, but they are so thoughtful to go out of of their way to write handwritten notes. This is a tradition that we should all keep alive.
