We are gonna do another Mama meet up✨✨ this time it is a clothing swap!

Bring all the clothes you never wear, that are sitting in the back of your closet and we are gonna make huge shopping piles at the Clinic✨

What you don’t wear anymore another mama will think it’s brand new!

Well all be hanging out, shopping, music, probably some dancing, and making new friends🤎

Who wouldn’t want to shop and thrift outfits while hanging out with all the ladies?

And whatever is left over I will donate for other women to enjoy!

Slow summer daze as far as births, and it has been the biggest breath of goodness!

My fall and winter birth schedule is looking a little cray😅

So I am soaking it up and enjoying summer here in TN, in my garden, with all my loves! I literally was telling one of families about to be due, that I am at that place where I am craving birth!!!! What birthworkers can relate to that?!!!

Thought it was time to introduce my sweetie for those of you who might not know him✨

Everybody meet Jacob, my Jake. Today we are celebrating 20 years of being together and 14 years married! If you’ve met him, and know him, then you know. This man is the most genuine, authentic human I’ve ever met. I would not be where I am today without this man walking beside, sometimes holding me up, sometimes carrying me, whispering in my ear, you can do it!

Partners of Midwives should be given every award there ever was! They deserve the spotlight and to be celebrated!

So here’s to you babe! I have loved you for 20 years and here’s to the next 20 and forever more!

My Story

Hey everyone! For those of you new to this page I wanted to share a little about myself and say welcome. . . I was born in the Appalachian mountains in Asheville NC, and work here as a Massage Therapist at a Chinese Medical Clinic. I am also a Certified DONA Birth Doula CD(DONA) and I'm so excited to offer love to my community. . . This theme of helping the woman, standing beside her, and being that person that goes in between for her, really started when I worked in Thailand for two years. I was working with women and girls who were at risk or trafficked into the s*x industry there. And since then I have travelled other places in the world witnessing and seeing what it looks like when a woman has no voice. My heart's cry is truly this! Advocating for women and girls. . . I want to do this for women everywhere. My hope is that through my Doula services that woman feel seen, heard, and loved. I think the most revolutionary thing me can do as Birthworkers is actually see the person across from us. See them and extend love, leaving out our own opinions. . . I am also a Co-Founder of the organization Wombs of the World, which is on a mission to support gentler births by connecting Professional Doulas with Clinics around the World, trying to bridge the gap to make Doula services accessible to every woman. We have programs now in Tanzania and Ecuador. I am so excited to be able to offer this to Doulas. Women supporting Women. . .
