The 2nd Annual Kid's Safety Day is coming to Erwin Town Hall on Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and we invite families from across the region to join us for a fun-filled morning focused on keeping kids safe, healthy, and informed! โค๏ธ
This FREE event will feature:
๐ฒ FREE bicycle helmets for children while supplies last
๐ Car seat safety checks
โ๏ธ Bicycle safety education
๐ Drug prevention and awareness resources
๐ฉน First aid and emergency preparedness information
โก Electrical and household safety education
๐ง Kona Ice
๐ Free goodies, giveaways, activities, and more!
Families will also have the opportunity to connect with local first responders, businesses, and community organizations dedicated to protecting and supporting children in our community, including - Town of Erwin Police Department, Town of Erwin Fire Department, Unicoi County Emergency Medical Services, Epilepsy Foundation of East Tennessee, Children's Advocacy Center of the 1st Judical District, Erwin Utilities, Unicoi County Family YMCA, Unicoi County Prevention Coalition, Valley Beautiful Healthcare, Rocky Fork State Park, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, Niswonger Children's Hospital, Ballad Health and Kona Ice.
Kidโs Safety Day is hosted by the Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with many incredible community organizations and is made possible through funding from the Jeff Roth Cycling Foundation, whose mission is to promote bicycle safety and healthy lifestyles for children and families.
