Looking for an easy weeknight meal that everyone at the table will actually enjoy? This one-pan chicken and Brussels sprouts dish is bursting with savory, crispy goodness and comes together in no time! 😋

Ingredients:

• 1¼ lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces

• 1 lb Brussels sprouts, halved or quartered

• 3 slices of bacon, chopped into small pieces

• 1 large shallot, thinly sliced

• 2 tsp salt

• 2 tbsp olive oil

• 1 tbsp aged balsamic vinegar

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Combine the chicken, Brussels sprouts, bacon, and shallots on the sheet. Sprinkle evenly with salt.

3. Drizzle olive oil over everything and toss until coated. Spread in a single layer so it roasts evenly.

All protein - whether from plants or animals - is made of amino acids. These building blocks are essential for breaking down and rebuilding your cells every day. There are 20 amino acids:
🔹 4 are nonessential, meaning your body can make them
🔹 9 are essential, meaning you must get them from food

A complete protein has all nine essential amino acids. Examples include:

🥓 Looking for a snack or appetizer that is both sweet and savory? Bacon-wrapped dates are a simple, delicious option that combines crunch, sweetness, and smoky flavor.

Ingredients:

• 12 Medjool dates, pitted

• 24 raw almonds

• 6 slices Paleo-friendly bacon, cut in half

• Balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)

• Toothpicks

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Open each date and place two almonds inside. The natural sweetness of dates pairs perfectly with the almonds’ crunch.

3. Wrap each stuffed date with a half-slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick, placing the seam side down.

4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the bacon is golden and crispy.
