This really depends on a combination of your preferences, how your muscles respond during the session, and the educational background of your massage therapist! These two modalities are most common, but often we are working in the moment and may change gears based on the above factors. At Amethyst Healings Massage Studio, we like to schedule blocks of time and tailor your session to meet your needs!
