Last week, we held a special celebration for the individuals Lisa supported, creating space for them to come together in remembrance and reflection. Lisa was an integral part of their lives, and her unexpected loss has been deeply felt by many of the individuals she supported.

The MacArthur class did a fun science experiment to see if they could make a rainbow in a glass! They learned that if they were patient and poured slowly, they could indeed build a rainbow. 🌈

We’d like to send a HUGE thank you to our volunteers Derek and Roseanna, Kim and Satya from Care Compass, led by HCA’s own Magen, for all their hard work today beautifying the outdoor space at our new Clinton Street location for the United Way of Broome County Day of Action!

After two years of being left alone, it looks so much better (check out some of the before and after pictures) and our staff are excited to have an outdoor area to enjoy the warm weather as summer arrives!

Kenny and staff from our Old State Road house took a trip to the Binghamton University Nature Preserve yesterday. Kenny had a blast on the hike and enjoyed seeing all the birds and chipmunks!

A garden, much like our individuals, requires patience, love, and attention. They thrive when someone expends effort on them.

Middle Stella IRA has been working hard on their garden this year
