We’re kicking off the last week of our 30 day challenge and Lion Rising has taken the win again. Final score was 55 to 35, so as promised he’ll be getting a PlayStation gift card.

I’m not giving up yet though. One more week to see if I can catch up.

Also, it’s officially allergy season here in Northeast Tennessee and if you’re feeling it, we have exactly what you need at The JC Syrup Shop. Our all natural blends are made to support your body this time of year and help you feel your best.

If you’ve been following along, I’d love your support going into this last week. Like, comment, and share to cheer me on.

One of my favorite things to do is spend time at a farmers market. There’s something special about walking through and seeing local vendors and farmers sharing what they’ve worked so hard to grow and create. From fresh produce to handmade goods, every booth tells a story.

Supporting small businesses and local farmers truly makes a difference. When you shop small, you’re pouring back into families, dreams, and your own community.

If you haven’t been to a farmers market lately, this is your sign to go.

This is who I’m doing my 30 day challenge with.

Leo has been inspiring people for years. This was him speaking at Eastman Chemical Co back in 2019. Watching him share his story, his courage, and his perspective is something I’ll never forget.

And here’s the truth…
Most people wait.
Wait until life feels easier.
Wait until they feel ready.
Wait until things are perfect.

Leo doesn’t wait.

And honestly…neither am I anymore.

This challenge isn’t just about posting videos - it’s about showing up, even when it’s uncomfortable. It’s about choosing growth over fear.

If something has been on your heart lately… this is your sign.

You don’t have to be ready.
You just have to start.

If this resonates with you, feel free to message me 💙

One thing I keep seeing again and again is how many women are quietly rebuilding their lives.

Sometimes it’s after divorce, sometimes after a career change, and sometimes it’s simply realizing the life you built doesn’t quite fit anymore.

Rebuilding isn’t easy, but it’s often where the most meaningful growth happens.

When people talk about starting over, they usually focus on the practical things like money, plans, logistics.

But something people don’t talk about enough is rebuilding your identity.

Starting over isn’t just about rebuilding your circumstances. Sometimes it’s about rediscovering who you are.

When I started my business, I didn’t have investors or a big plan.

I had about $50, a prayer and a lot of determination to rebuild my life and support my kids.

Looking back now, I realize confidence doesn’t come before you start, it comes after you take the first step.

And the winner is…

A little about my story...

I was raised by two parents that valued the importance of alternative health and living. My dad was a chiropractor and my mom was what we would consider a “granola” today. Growing up we were taught the importance of eating right and treating all things that ailed us with supplements, essential oils and chiropractic. You could definitely say my upbringing was unconventional and unusual. As a child, I resented our unusual upbringing but as a young adult and mom I realized how valuable it was.

In January of 2019 I was at a crossroads. To be completely honest, I had no idea what the future held for me. I had just gotten through one of the toughest times of my life and I felt broken and defeated. I was a single mom to 4 young kids with no idea what I was going to do or how I was going to provide for my family. I felt like I was starting over in a lot of ways and knew God would lead me and guide me if I could let go and trust him - which is when everything changed.

It all started with the Daniel Fast. Several friends and I had decided to slow down and be intentional about making room for God in our lives. We spent 21 days fasting, praying and studying Gods word. When I tell you I had no idea what was getting ready to happen, I mean I had no idea.

Toward the end of the fast a friend offered me a shot of their homemade Elderberry Syrup. I remember telling them it was so delicious they should sell it. They quickly told me they had no intention of selling it and that’s when my wheels started turning. Three days later I decided to do a post saying I was selling Elderberry Syrup. The funny thing is when I did the post, I didn’t even know where to buy elderberries let alone what was going to be in my syrup.
