ETSU Northeast Tennessee Nurse-Family Partnership Program This free & voluntary service helps pregnant mothers succeed by providing in-home personal care by RNs.

Clients need to be low income and pregnant to be eligible for enrollment. We will follow the client and child until the child is 2 years of age. MISSION

Nurse-Family Partnership positively transforms the lives of vulnerable babies, mothers, and families. VISION

A future where all children are healthy, families thrive, communities prosper, and the cycle of poverty is broken. This free and voluntary service is available in the following Northeast Tennessee counties: Carter, Sullivan, Hawkins, Hancock, Unicoi, Greene, Johnson and Washington. This program is for first time moms or moms who never a parented a child who low income and less than 28 weeks pregnant. We will answer questions related to pregnancy, body changes/image, nutrition, labor & delivery, home safety, intimate partner domestic violence, breast feeding, postpartum depression, drug addicted babies, etc. Our nursing staff will monitor the mother medically, physically and emotionally. When the baby is born the nursing staff will monitor the child's stages of growth and development
